IRLS SPRING 2012 LILY BULB SALE

 

The Purpose of our Lily Society is to promote public interest in the growing of lilies. The Society presents a variety of ways for members and the public to learn about these fascinating, diversified and exciting flowers.  A few examples of The Regional Lily Society's teaching tools are as follows:

  • Annual Lily Show in June
  • Spring and Fall Lily Bulb Sales
  • Educational Meetings
  • Garden Tours
  • Lily Library
  • Newsletters
  • Seminars by lily growers
  • Provide written literature

Our good friend and Past President of the Iowa Regional Lily Society Ron Reed passed away on October 9, 2011 after a prolonged battle with blood cancer. Ron's hearty laugh and optimistic outlook on life will be greatly missed by all of us. A big man with an even bigger heart.
