CONGRATULATIONS!

Our very own Vice President, Sue Williams and our Secretary/ Treasurer, Wanda Lunn, went to the North American Lily Society Show recently held in Springfield, Missouri. Both Sue and Wanda entered lily stems from their gardens for the FIRST TIME in this lily show. Both came away with several Blue Ribbons, but Sue Williams won the very prestegious Jan De Graff Award for the best clone in section D.

Wanda's Blue Ribbon lily stems

Wanda entered 5 stems and came home with 4 blue ribbons (First Place) and 1 red ribbon(Second Place) Here she is pictured with a few of her Blue Ribbon winners.

Sue entered 3 stems, 2 of which took blue ribbons, and one took a red ribbon. It was one of Sue's blue ribbon winners that went on to take the Jan De Graff Award.
